Long story short for GSH: One Wildly Mispriced Stock You’ve Never Heard Of

At a gut-level risk vs reward level, I like BKCC at $6. I had set an alert for 9.5 at some point, probably based on a Motley Fool article.

AZZ Incorporated (AZZ)

AZZ caught my eye from a Motley Fool article (I find them in the strangest places..Fool articles, that is..in this case while checking on an alert about BOOM, which I also discovered through the Fools. ). One of the CAPs members posted that it was in the Hidden Gems newsletter and I like the pitch in the article. Lazy part satisfied, now looking for a pull back to satisfy the cheap. Today it is at 36.09. I’m setting an alert at 32 and hope to pick up at 30.  At 5 stars and a dividend, I might consider higher.

Dividend. Insider purchases. Price drop. Need I say more? Ok: 5 star.

American Capital Agency Corp. (AGNC)

Too good to be true is always scary. At today’s 21.8% dividend, that is where I see AGNC. But scary is cool and enticing, especially with a Foolish CAP rating of 4 stars. So, I’m going to put an alert at $22 and look again.

Yahoo! Finance Cookies

Apparently if you upgrade Flash (willingly, knowingly or not) you have to clear your cookies before things like the interactive charts and stock watch alerts will work properly again. In FireFox, you can clear individual cookies, which is great if you don’t want to have to re-login in to all of your automatic logins on hundreds of sites like me 🙂

Cheap, But Not Lazy Investment Resource

First, Publisher’s Clearing House is not an investment strategy. However, if all I have to do is run one of my many daily searches from their search engine to win money, why not? Funny thing is, when my daily reminder prompts me to do this it is almost always after I have done some extensive searches on everybody’s standard search engine. This means I have to get creative on what I should search for (why waste perfectly good key strokes?). So I ran a search for highest paying dividend and ran across:

Top U.S. Stocks with Highest Dividend Yield as of Mar. 13, 2010

PS: If you start using the PCH search and win, please donate my percentage using the icon at the top of this page 🙂

Several false alerts from Yahoo! Alerts today. Must have caught that bug from the stock market last week!
